A Strong Feeling

It's been a while since I have blogged. A strong feeling came toward me an hour ago. No words can express my feeling. I think this will be the best way for me to express it. I feel like using chinese for this post. Please forgive me for those who are unable to read chinese.

Precious moments at February

I had abandoned my blog again ! People please forgive me .
I was too busy lately. There are a lot of things waiting for me to blog. But I'm too lazy to blog every single thing. So i just blog something which i think it should be kept in memories.Oh by the way , do you know that every man's memory is his private literature? I bet you don't know. Well , out of topic!

Alright let's talk about the Chinese New Year . I had a great one this year. Most probably because I'm leaving soon . So this might be my last year celebrated chinese new year with all my beloved relatives and friends. I just realised that Chinese New Year was a great chance to meet all your lost-contact-friends. I almost went out everyday during the Chinese New Year. I thought public holiday is suppose to be an opportunity to rest a hectic lifestyle but with Chinese New Year, holiday is more tiring then normal lifestlye.

Here are some pictures during Chinese New Year.

With all my cousins

Fire Cracker

Lou Sang

With youth fellowship

With Cell Group people

With primary school friends. This is the best picture of me among the rest and I just realised we didn't take a group photo. What a sad case.

John & Jasmine farewell party

That was a great moment to gather around and celebrated a farewell party to John & Jasmine one week before Chinese New Year. We had a wonderful dinner with joy and fun. Not to mention the delicious desserts. May God bless both of you with peace, love, joy and all the spiritual as well as physical blessing abundantly. Bon Yoyage to John & Jasmine.

Movies

I watched 6 movies during the Chinese New Year holidays. Watched 5 movies in a week and 1 movie before the holiday.

72 tenants of prosperity

My ratings: 6.5 out of 10.

Directed by Eric Tsang, the mini man with a huge appetite of making really good and funny comedy, “72 Tenants of Prosperity” is packed with some of the funniest, silliest and tear-jerking concoction with a witty sense of humour, so much like the man himself. While in the previous years, we were presented a darker side of Eric (as triad boss), here in “72 Tenants,” he plays a guy much more like himself – witty, and being so naturally funny in front of the camera.

14 Blades

My ratings: 6.5 out of 10.

It's about time Donnie Yen made an impact yet again in the fantasy wuxia-pian . His 14 Blades character of Qing Long (Green Dragon, thanks to those mean looking tattoos adorned all over his upper torso) here looks quite set to become yet another memorable role similar to his morally ambiguous one in Bodyguards and Assassins.
Set during the Ming Dynasty the movie will depict the exploits of a group of elite assassins known as the Imperial Guards. Trained since early childhood to become masters of the sword in service of the emperor, these men carried out their tasks with deadly precision.

Little Big Soldier

My ratings : 7.0 out of 10

Jackie Chan stars as a lowly, unnamed Liang soldier who survives an ambush by Qin forces that decimates his 2000-strong army. The only other survivor appears to be a young Wei general (Wang Leehom) fighting for the Qin, who Chan's character takes hostage and together they set off back to Liang, where he can collect a plot of land as reward for his captive.A storyline which is pretty dull and slow revolving around the 2 mentioned above talking about an extraordinary relationship, enemies but like friends in the times of war.

True Legend

My ratings : 9.5 out of 10

All his life, Su Can ,a wealthy man living during the Qing Dynasty, loses his fortune and reputation because of a conspiracy against him. He is forced out onto the streets. Su dedicates his life to martial arts and rises again as a patriotic hero known as the “King of Beggars.”
Thus is the story of Su Can and the famous “Drunken Fist”, which is based on the story of a real-life hero. True Legend is directed by Yuen Woo Ping. It's a MUST watch movie in the cinema.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians : The Lightning Thief
My ratings : 9.0 out of 10

I have not read a single Percy Jackson book. I’d never even heard of the books until news of the movie version of Percy Jackson the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (man, that’s an annoying long title) first surfaced. Overall I actually found the film to be pretty good (for what it was) although it didn’t have the richness and depth that’s present in the Harry Potter films.

Valentine's Day

My ratings : 9.0 out of 10

Not nearly as good as I expected, but plot twists near the end were surprising and unexpected. The cast is what made the movie, otherwise, it probably wouldn't have been worth watching.

ps: Please forgive me to write the short review for Valentine's Day. It's because I just have no idea after writing for the 5 movies reviews.

Cheers! Keep the faith.

May you people have a prosperous year ahead.
